Conducted by a researcher from the School of Chemical Engineering: Tracking pollutants and diseases with smart sensors
Dr. Samira Mehravar, a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Engineering, has taken a new step in monitoring environmental pollutants and non-invasively diagnosing diseases by developing a platform based on nanotechnology and smart sensors. This technology, using engineered nanomaterials and multivariate data analysis, enables faster, more accurate, and more reliable identification of volatile organic compounds.
